Colibrí integrates missions and space projects carried out by research professors and students from the Universidad Panamericana in collaboration with strategic allies such as NASA and MIT
The Colibrí Space Laboratory is made up of:
1. Pakal Program
2. Aztechsat II Mission
3. Stella Ignis
Goals:
-
Promote multidisciplinary education and research in space technology.
-
Contribute to the solution of global problems through the development of scientific and commercial space projects.
-
Motivate a multidisciplinary and international ecosystem for technological innovation.
Impact areas
We encourage a multidisciplinary and international ecosystem
for innovation.
We develop new technologies and space projects that offer solutions to global problems.
We generate strategic alliances to strengthen the technology and space sector in Mexico.
PROYECTs
pakal
It is a series of space missions in evolutionary stages which will test new space propulsion technology and a miniaturized mechanism capable of obtaining atmospheric density measurements in low Earth orbit. The data collected will make it possible to study atmospheric phenomena, climate change and contribute to the location of space debris.
AztechSat II Constellation
Ad astra, México.
"Constelación Aztechsat" is a collaboration with NASA and AEM in which 7 public and private universities in Mexico will join forces to launch a constellation of 4 nanosatellites to monitor marine life.
